Отдельные главы посвящены знакам различия прусских офицеров и конскому составу прусской кавалерии. Книга богато иллюстрирована несколькими сотнями оригинальных гравюр, литографий и живописных работ, изображающими чинов прусской кавалерии, портретами офицеров и нижних чинов из музейных и частных собраний. The book is the continuance of the two-volume edition, related to the cavalry of the Prussian army in the period of 1808-1840 as well as the history of units, uniforms, equipment and armament. Hussars, lancers, Guard Cossacks and the training cavalry squadron are considered in the second volume. Several parts of the book are related to the insignia of the Prussian officers and the horseflesh of the Prussian cavalry. The book is well illustrated by several hundred original engravings, lithographs and paintings, depicting the ranks of the Prussian cavalry, portraits of officers and other ranks. This book will serve as a necessary reference for anyone who is engaged in military history and uniform of the first half of the XIX century: collectors, museum employees, reenactors, fans of military historical miniatures and military uniform.
