What books are prohibited to be transported across the border?
In our catalog, we display everything that is in the catalogs of our partners in Russia. However, when ordering publications, pay attention to existing restrictions on the transportation of books across the border. If you order books that fall under these restrictions, we will not be able to provide them to you and will simply refund your money for these publications. There is a ban on the import of certain publications into the European Union.
Explanation from the head of the customs department of the Tax and Customs Department of Estonia, Eerik Heldna: "Although books are printed on paper, this does not automatically make them paper products. Paper products refer to clean paper - cardboard products, printing paper. Books can be transported. But there is a certain periodicity that may be aimed at inciting war or justifying Russian aggression towards Ukraine. The Tax and Customs Department, as a law enforcement agency, is obliged to do everything possible to prevent such violations or incitement of social enmity in the European Union. Therefore, we do not allow the import of military magazine "Krasnaya Zvezda", posters with inscriptions "Crimea is ours", or "On Berlin", etc., not because of sanction restrictions, but to prevent further violations."
