Mark Twain (1835—1910) was an American writer, journalist, and publisher. Among his most famous novels are "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and its sequel, "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn". Most of his finest work includes many genres such as humor, satire, and philosophical fiction. "The Innocents Abroad" is a travel book in which Twain humorously describes his journey in 1867 on board the ship Quaker City through Europe and the Holy Land. This book is one of the best-selling travel books of all time.
