Mark Twain was an American writer, journalist, and publisher. Among his most famous novels are "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and its sequel, "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn". His wit and satire, in prose and in speech, earned praise from critics and peers. "The Tragedy of Pudd'nhead Wilson" is a novel about two boys from the fictional Missouri town of Dawson's Landing. One, born into slavery, with a small amount of black ancestry. The other is white, born to be the master of the house. The two boys were switched after birth, so each would grow into the other's social role and accept many of the boundaries and stigmas of the society.
